Because of its excellent insulation properties, it can also be used on hot water lines for insulation against heat loss.
Cork-Tite is an effective sound dampening material, can also be used for gasketing purposes, adheres to all kinds of dry metals, and seals tightly without drying. Cork-Tite keeps cold lines cold and hot lines hot. It is flexible and does not shrink or melt within the service temperature of -20°F (-29°C) to +200°F (+93°C).
